11:00 am Session II with Rachael Resch: Grief Body, World Body - Metabolizing Grief into Beauty
The one constant in the Universe is change. Married to beginning's joy is ending's grief. Every breath contains the joy of oxygen's marriage with hemoglobin and the inevitable grief of separation at the cell membrane. Through movement and metaphor, we'll explore the physics of the law of gravity in the human body as a methodology for grounding both physically and energetically, such that we might fully receive the gift of the past that makes the present moment blossom and the future possible. As author Martín Prechtel says, grief is a sacred art, grief is movement and grief is the backbone of all real peace.

1:30 pm Session III with Rachael Resch: Angelic Anatomy - Wings of the Human Body
The human body is home to the fractal anatomy of pairs of wings over and over: in the heart, the head, the pelvis and more. Explore the sacred anatomy of winged structures in the physical, emotional, mental and spirit bodies, and how they relate to the Jacob's Ladder of the spine that connects Heaven and Earth, this world and the next.

Through simple movement and breath exercises, music and poetry, we'll apply scientific, somatic and spiritual inquiry to explore the fundamental yet extraordinary act of breathing.
