As a music therapist and music-thanatologist I have the privilege and honor of working with individuals throughout the spectrum of life, from birth (as a SoundBirthing music therapist) to death (as a music-thanatologist). I have been practicing music therapy since 2008, and was certified as a music-thanatologist in 2015. It is my hope to facilitate greater collaboration between the two fields in the end-of-life setting.
